ちなみに昨年は世界で５位に入賞（日本チームとしては一位）

Rei Yamaguchi, Nodoka Ikeda, and Sakiko Takahashi, the 6th grade team of Tohoku University School of medicine competed in the World Physiology Quiz Japan, where 159 teams from 12 countries gathered for a question-and-answer session in English.
The preliminary round narrowed the field down to seven teams, and in the end, Tohoku University from Japan and the University of Ljublina from Slovenia tied for first place in both competitions.
By the way, last year, they were awarded 5th place in the world (first place for a Japanese team). We applaud their further effors.

After a thrilling battle in the final round, Tohoku university from Japan and Ljubljana university from Slovenia become champions, sharing the 1st place at the same points. Tohoku university is the first Japanese university to win PQJ in the online era of PQJ and Ljubljana university is the first European university to win PQJ.
